How do virtual consultations work?
We begin by chatting via email to discuss the scope of your project and design needs. Then, I use photos of your exterior and my detailed online questionnaire to learn all the specifics of your home. I base my paint color and stain suggestions on your aesthetic preferences, the architectural style and regionality of your home, any existing materials and landscaping, the inspiration imagery you provide, and your preferred brand of paint.
What’s included in each package?
- Details about each color, including specific descriptions and undertone information
- Professional suggestions regarding the specific sheen to paint each surface
- My specific preferred paint product to use on each exterior surface
- In situ photos showing each paint color used in real-life projects
- Large paint swatches of Sherwin-Williams or Benjamin Moore colors, delivered to your door. Samples can be sent anywhere in the U.S. and Canada (delivery to Alaska and Hawaii might incur an additional fee). No P.O. boxes, please.
How are consultations delivered?
My virtual packages are delivered via email. You will receive a multi-page PDF packed with information and my professional recommendations specific to your project.
Which paint brands do you use?
I select colors from Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, Farrow & Ball, and Behr. You may indicate which brand you prefer on my online questionnaire, which you’ll receive after submitting your payment.
What if I need more than three different colors for my exterior?
You may customize any package by adding additional paint or stain colors. For example, you might wish to add accent colors on your gables, beams, porch floor or ceiling, garage doors, deck, fencing, and other surfaces. Simply get in touch, and we’ll work together to create the perfect package for you.
I need help choosing a color for my roof and gutters. Can you help?

How soon will I receive my consultation PDF?
My lead times vary by season, but you can expect to receive your paint consultation PDF via email two to four weeks after you submit your payment, questionnaire, and photos.

How do I get started?
Please contact me to discuss your project in detail and receive a quote. You’ll receive a link to my questionnaire and photo submittal information within 24 hours of my receipt of payment.
